Saying
Goodbye...
The Hardest
Part of This Ministry!
Military ministry is about
relationships; and relationships don't have to end just because someone
moves to another place. After becoming part of our "family" Yvonne and
I maintain contact with our "sons" and "daughters," when they get transferred
to new duty stations, through email, telephone calls, care packages, and
even personal visits!

When one of our sons
or daughters gets transferred out of the area we attempt to hook them up
with a good local group in the area where they are being transferred. We
maintain a network of other military ministries, servicemen's centers,
and hospitality houses around the world and make contact with the group
near their new duty station to give them a heads-up that the serviceman
or woman is coming and we also to give the name and address of the group
to the servicemember.
