Home Away From Home For Military Men and Women

Our
Mission Statement
Open Bible
Ministries Inc. is a Pentecostal house church whose mandate is to
make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything
Jesus commanded (Matthew 28:19-20).
Our
purpose is the establishment of close interpersonal relationships with
military men and women in order to help them:
1.
Initiate and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ;
2.
Become established in the Word of God both intellectually and behaviorally;
3.
Get baptized with the Holy Spirit, with the initial evidence of speaking
in other tongues, to divinely empower them as witnesses for Jesus Christ;
and
4.
Become culturally sensitive witnesses for Jesus Christ to military personnel
in their units, to multinational forces in combined military operations,
and to the residents of the countries where they may serve.

We attend several special
events that occur in the area, as a group, such as, the Ringling Brothers
Circus, and Civil War Reenactments at the Endview Plantation in Yorktown,
and Christian concerts.
